Welcome to Kendriya Vidyalaya Santragachi

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Santragachi is the unit of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. KV, Santragachi had its inception in 1995 with an aim to impart quality education. The Vidyalaya has three sections from I to V and two sections from VI to XII. At present Science and Commerce Streams are available. The K.V. as a pioneering educational institution caters to the needs of Central Govt. Employees and other categories of people of Howrah. There are 1000 students in the Vidyalaya and empowered with 40 devoted staff.

The KV covers an area of 05 acres of land located in a serene eco-friendly environment situated 2 kms away from the Santragachi Railway Station and absolutely free from din & bustle of town and gives an ideal atmosphere for teaching learning process. The Vidyalaya Keeps a close watch for all round develovement of the students.
